What is The Grief Recovery Method® Support Group?
My Grief Recovery Support Groups provide a safe environment for you to look at your old beliefs about dealing with loss, which losses have affected your life, and take actions that will lead you to complete unresolved emotions that may still be causing you pain.
The 8-week, in-person group course offered is a potent, dynamic, and sensible program, accessible to anyone committed to taking the essential steps toward self-help. As a premier authority on the topic of grief, Your Grief Solution provides a proven, effective method applicable to any type of loss individuals may encounter in their lives, using The Grief Recovery Method.
This 8-week, action-based educational recovery program uses the Grief Recovery Handbook as our guide. Each week, I introduce a component of the process, whether it's about unlearning the misinformation we've learned from society, or looking for the losses in our past, or finding what is unresolved and making emotionally accurate statements to a nonjudgmental, caring listener.
We will have breakout groups personally revealing information about our past, and we adhere each week to a set of commitments to each other, in order to provide confidentiality and emotional safety for all participants.
Since each session builds on the previous weeks' material, this is not a drop-in group, and your weekly attendance is an integral and required part of your healing process.
I will personally walk with you through your grief journey every step of the way sharing my own story with you.
This course requires reading and weekly homework. The Grief Recovery Handbook is included in the cost of the course and will be sent directly to you before the course begins.
This course will require a minimum of 2 hours to complete each class weekly. Some courses may end early.
